Algae Buster
An ideal treatment for algal scums, rafts and blanket weed. Algae Buster works instantly & releases oxygen as a by-product of its contact with water. It has also been used in aquaculture for its oxygenation, disinfection and antiparasitic properties.
 
Dose Rates
For small areas: 50g per square metre of algae/weed.
For large areas: 125kg per acre of algae/weed.
 
Application
The granules work best sprinkled directly onto the surface of the water / blanket weed.
 
A one time application will clear up most ponds and lakes. In severe cases repeat doses after 2 to 3 weeks may be necessary to treat algae that was missed first time around or if the blanket weed is very dense.
