Belvoir Lakes

The fishery is made up of two waters, the 12 acre syndicate lake known as the Lower Lake & the 1/4 acre day ticket lake known as the Small Lake. Day tickets are now available for the Small Lake on a book only basis, see below for more information. This typical estate lake is shallow & silty with a variety of features, including islands, stream & bloodworm beds as well as waterfalls.

Membership is £450 per year.

Fish Stocks

The venue fishing is mixed, predominantly containing carp to 38lbs with the addition of Bream to 14lbs, Perch to 3lbs, pike to 25lbs, roach to 2lbs and Tench to 8lbs.

At present the lower lake contains up to 400 carp to 35lbs with the average weight being mid to upper doubles. The fish are young stock and are growing well this year, we have had a good number of twenties and mid-twenties out. The lake has several strains of carp including our traditional scaly fish. It's looking the lake will produce some awesome fish in the future.

Site Specific Rules

Anglers can use a maximum of 3 rods. Belvoir is our only water where bait boats are allowed. There are a number of events held in the Castle Grounds each year that may affect the angling. The upper lake opens from 1st February to the 1st August.
