EPDM Membrane Diffuser (air) length 250mm-1000 mm, Ø30 mm
 
The basic principle of these outlets comes from the sewage technology industry and outlets of this type are preferably used where a strong organic load and / or a strong growth of algae often leads to the clogging of other types of outlets.
EPDM air outlets consist of a support tube with an EPDM hose membrane slipped over it. The air flows through large holes in the carrier tube into the space between the carrier tube and the EPDM membrane and expands it to such an extent that the air flows out through the slits in a fine-beaded manner. As soon as the air supply is switched off, the slots close and clogging is prevented, even if the device is not used for a long time. These outlets, already weighted at the factory, sink to the bottom of the basin or pond and are absolutely unblockable and indestructible.

Note: EPDM air vents are not suitable for pure oxygen and ozone!
