RDO Antifouling Copper Guard
Fouling is the most common issue with measuring accurate water parameters, this replacement guard offers great resistance to biomass build up it is especially effective with long term probe installations like our VuLink Remote Oxygen Monitor.
 
Copper is is a powerful antimicrobial agent and highly active chemical catalyst, its relationship with biological matter (biomass) is aggressive and disruptive. This copper wrapped guard works to prevent aquatic life and biomass build up on our RDO Blue probes, which can ultimately block and impair oxygen and other water parameter readings.
 
Simply thread the guard onto the instrument to extend deployment length and ensure accurate DO readings.
