

The Memorial Trout Lakes
Following extensive renovations to multiple historic lakes on the estate, the Memorial Fishing Lakes at Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire, are open to the public for trout fishing.
Originally conceived over 200 years ago by the country's greatest landscape architect, Capability Brown, his plans have been finally realised in line with the tercentenary of his birth.
The fishery is made up of two one acre lakes.
Membership is £350 per year.
Day Tickets are £25 and have a limit of 2 fish
Fish Stocks
This truly is a most stunning location to angle with Belvoir Castle as a back drop. The lakes have been stocked with Brown, Rainbow and Tiger Trout between 1.5 and 14lb.

Catch and return is allowed if barbless hooks are used.

Disappointing day, started with gate code that came on confirmation email not working and no one from AJS available on phone to help. No real sign of fish rising, no knocks or pulls, nothing caught ☹️
